Y'all. I am OBSESSED with hair bows. I make my own and it's the best thing since sliced bread (thank you Pinterest!) I cannot stress enough the importance of this accessory. They make or break the femininity of an outfit. They act to keep the hair out of the eyes. And let's be honest, they're cute as a button! There are so many kinds from pinwheel to cheerleader to the basic folded hair bow.

Ok y'all. I love, love, LOVE the beach. Growing up in Michigan, every summer my family would go to our cottage at Lake Michigan (which has one of the nicest beaches in the world). Seriously. I cannot wait to go back this summer.

A few essentials to survive a day of sand, sun, and sea are bandeau bikini (avoiding tan lines at ALL costs), a monogrammed floppy derby hat, some cute flip flops, and a study beach bag (to fit sunscreen, a novel, a iPod, drinks, etc.)

Short Girls Wear Jeans, Too

I FINALLY found jeans that fit! You wouldn't believe the struggle I have trying to find jeans that are flattering, yet stretchy enough to accommodate my large runners thighs/calves and my Italian girl booty! But I found them. I have officially made the switch from Deliah's to Lucky Brand (which are better quality and more flattering) and found a style that its my needs (Charlie)!
