Post-Workout Smoothie


As a total fitness junkie, I'm always looking for good, energizing foods to help me recover from a difficult  workout. I found this one on Pinterest and I'm in LOVE.

Pinterest:
  • 1/2 cup of Almond Milk
  • 1 scoop of Chocolate Protein Powder
  • 2 tbsp Peanut Butter
  • 1/2 cup ice
Blend.

My Own Blend:
  • 3/4 cup of Almond Milk
  • 1 scoop of unsweetened Vanilla Protein Powder (or Flax Seed if you don't have protein powder)
  • 2 tbsp of Chocolate Coconut Peanut Butter (Wild Squirrel makes the best!)
  • 1 FROZEN medium Banana 
  • 1 tbsp of Blue Agave Syrup (but you can add to desired sweetness)
Blend.
