Clam Bake, Anyone?

Boots!

I am always super excited for fall ( I mean, who doesn't love sweaters and scarves and boots?! ), but this fall is going to be magical. I can feel it. For my birthday, my auntie in Texas bought me the greatest cowboy boots I have ever seen. I love boots in general, but these are fantastic! They will give me the perfect balance between preppy and country, a balance I've been trying to strike for many years :)

Tommy Hilfiger

I am in love with this blazer/coat/jacket. It's Tommy Hilfiger size S, but has an adjustable "belt" around the middle to create a more relaxed look. Or, opposite, a more curvacious appeal. This pairs nicely with dresses and the classic jeans/t-shirt combo. It has puckered 3/4 sleeves so it can be worn year round. This was bought out at an outlet mall an hour and 1/2 away from where I live. I admit I splurged a little, but it was an 'investment' coat ;) xoxo Savannah

Update on boots

They came! Oh my goodness, I am so excited to wear them. Of course I've already planned out many outfits to pair with these before they came, but none the less, it is amazing to finally have them in my hands :)

The Concert

Wow. Paulina Jayne was AMAZING! I knew she could sing but, wow, she's really good! A few other acts came on that weren't stellar, but that was fine. Just being there was fantastic. Which brings me to another part of the night... So my friends and I got there and another one of our friends had tickets for better seats and just gave them to us. How awesome was that?! Finally Sheryl Crow came on and sang ALL of her greatest hits. I immediately thought since Kid Rock wasn't there she wouldn't do "Picture". THEN OUT OF NOWHERE KID ROCK CAME ON STAGE. My life was complete. I got to see my all time favorite song performed live by the two people who originally sang it.

This would be me getting ready to jam out to Sheryl.

This cutie is one of my girlfriends I went to the concert with, aRp. I absolutely love her. This was her first concert she's ever been to so it made the experience ( and the drive) worth it!

Sheryl Crow

OMG. My mom just called me from work to tell me she has free Sheryl Crow tickets for tonight. That is right! I'm going to Sheryl Crow! I just called a few of my girlfriends and we're all driving out together. Then, to sweeten the pot, my friend for little league soccer is the opening act!!! Sooo not only do I see one of my all time favorite country singers, but also my friend from home... on the same stage! I'll post pictures later, but I've never been to a country concert before, so what do I wear?
